Anne Czerkawski, Esq. provides educational consulting and advocacy within a legal framework to assist children and families successfully navigate the often confusing and complicated journey of special education. She helps them develop accommodations that may be required for children to access the curriculum and succeed in school. Anne works closely with families who suspect their child may have a disability because of their lack of progress in school, as well as evaluating existing services. She advocates directly with the schools in collaboration with the family to gain additional services that may be needed.
As a mother of a child diagnosed with a learning disability (dyslexia), Anne understands the emotion and worry it can create as a parent and the potential impact it can have on a child’s self-esteem, eagerness to learn and the ability to establish positive peer relationships. As such, she focuses on the whole child and their ability to succeed socially and academically in the school environment.
Anne is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Psychology and received her J.D. from New England Law. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 2005.
