Jaci uses empathy and reflective listening to create a supportive and non-judgmental space. She has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents and families. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression. Jaci also works with clients who have difficult family dynamics and provides parent consultation. 

Background & Qualifications

Jaclyn (Jaci) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families.  She has experience treating people with anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma.  She also has a background working within family systems to help strengthen relationships, improve communication, and manage conflict.

Jaci emphasizes building a therapeutic alliance as she understands the value of rapport.  She uses empathy and reflective listening to create a supportive and non-judgmental space.  Jaci utilizes a collaborative and client centered approach, incorporating several therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy.  She is trained in Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART), an innovative treatment using an array of sensory equipment to treat youth with complex trauma.

Jaci has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including a residential program, therapeutic school and outpatient clinic.  Most recently, she was an In-Home Therapist for Justice Resource Institute.  During that time, Jaci expanded her clinical skills providing intensive family therapy to youth and families from different backgrounds.

Jaci received her Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Anselm College in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Simmons College.  She has witnessed strength, healing and resilience within individuals facing adversity.
