Michael Yuille, MSW LICSW is a highly skilled therapist with a broad spectrum of experience across three decades of assisting individuals, families, and groups. The core of his success has always been the ability to establish the kind of trusting relationships that enable people to successfully craft their own unique path to health and well-being. 

Background & Qualifications

Michael Yuille has worked in a variety of professional capacities in Child and Family Mental Health, military family support, men’s work, addiction treatment, and community-based domestic violence intervention. A practicum supervisor with the William Glasser Institute since 1991, his clinical practice combines Cognitive-Behavioural, Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy approaches, in combination with various wisdom traditions, to help individuals achieve the life they want.  

Michael has degrees in child and adolescent developmental psychology from St. Lawrence College, philosophy from Queen’s University, and his MSW from Boston University in clinical social work. In addition to his work as a psychotherapist, Michael is an avid sailor, boatbuilder, and blues player. He loves time with family and friends, as well as anything to do with books and the outdoors.
