Background & Qualifications
Paige DeSisto is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders. She has experience treating people with a wide range of diagnoses, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders such as Trichotillomania (hair pulling), Dermatillomania (skin picking), Somatic Disorder, Illness Anxiety Disorder (health anxiety), and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). She incorporates a number of evidence-based therapeutic treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).
Paige earned her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and her Master’s Degree from the Boston College School of Social Work. She has gained clinical experience in diverse settings such as McLean Hospital’s Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Institute (OCDI), Massachusetts General Hospital Outpatient Obstetrics, and Cameron Middle School in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Paige has witnessed dramatic healing take place in individuals with even the most severe forms of anxiety. She believes adamantly that effective therapy can be life-changing.
