Stacy is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, and ADD. Stacy also works with clients who are having interpersonal issues or difficult family dynamics. She enjoys working with children, teenagers, and young adults, and has worked in various mental health settings such as nursing homes, inpatient mental health units, eating disorder facilities, and outpatient services.

Stacy incorporates several therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and play therapy. She understands the importance of rapport-building and prioritizes building a relationship and a level of comfort for her clients. Stacy helps empower clients to increase their natural support system and utilize coping skills to manage distress. 

Stacy received her Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University in Psychology and her Master’s Degree from Simmons School of Social Work. Stacy incorporates her therapy dog-in-training, Abby, in her work. Abby is a mellow, lovable, lab-shepherd mix.
